Author Bio
Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849-1924) was an Anglo-American playwright and author. She is best known for her children's stories, in particular The Secret Garden, A Little Princess, and Little Lord Fauntleroy.
Charles Robinson (1870–1937) was a prolific illustrator of children’s books, among them A Child’s Garden of Verses, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and Grimm’s Fairy Tales.
Alice A. Carter is professor emeritus of animation and illustration at San Jose State University, and former co-director of education at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco. Her illustrations have been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the country, and her publications include The Art of National Geographic: One Hundred Years of Illustration and Cecilia Beaux: A Modern Painter in the Gilded Age.
